Office-Friendly Outfit Ideas

Dressing for an office doesn’t have to be a challenge, nor does it have to limit your personal style. Here are some tips for workwear/business casual looks:

  • Accessories, like a pair of heels and a statement belt, can help dress up a simple pair of black pants or jeans.

  • If you are allowed to wear jeans in your office, make sure you are wearing the right cut. Dark wash skinny jeans or a tailored pair of flared jeans are great options, especially when paired with a nice blouse or jacket.

  • Fit is key! If you need to hem your pants or tailor a jacket, do it.

  • A blazer or cardigan is always a good idea. And even if you have a t-shirt or more casual top, you can almost always make it appropriate by adding a jacket on top.

  • Neutral colors, or even monochromatic outfits, make for effortless office looks.

  • Pops of color like a red blazer, floral heels or a bright shirt can help make otherwise boring office attire much more stylish and fun.

  • Don’t limit your style for an office. Trousers, nice pants, midi skirts, pencil skirts and dresses are all options. And you can pair those with almost any top, especially when you add a cute jacket or sweater.
