Monthly Favs: July

  1. Rails Athena Wrap Top in Lemon Grove + Rails Etienne Wrap Skirt in Lemon Grove I think 2019 is definitely the year of matching sets and this is one super cute set. I love the girly ruffle detail on the top and bottom as well as the bright, summery print. The top and bottom both look really cute worn separately but worn together make an easy outfit for day or night.

  2. MAC Prep + Prime Lip If you wear lipstick this lip primer is literally a life-changer. It’s a colorless base to wear under lipstick that adds moisture, but trust me this is not just an only chapstick. It really smoothes and refines the lips and 100% improves the appearance of lipstick. It also helps your lipstick look better and stay on longer. If you are a fan of primer for your face, trust me lip primer is just as important.

  3. MAC Lipstick in Brave I’ve been looking for the perfect nude-ish, pink-ish everyday lip color and I think I’ve finally found it. It’s a warm pink with a satin finish and is just perfection. Obviously, lip colors are going to depend on your skin tone, but if you are looking for a good lipstick MAC definitely has some of the best color options and I think the formula wears really well throughout the day.

  4. GAP Split-Neck Pullover Hoodie Sweatshirt in Neon Green (On Sale) Neon is a must-have this summer and I definitely think that trend will transition into the fall. This is the perfect neon green and such a cozy, comfy sweatshirt. I love the split-neck and slits on the sides. I did want it to be oversized so I can wear it with leggings and bike shorts so I got a size medium.

  5. Anthropologie Rattan Circle Bag in Neutral I don’t know what it is but a round straw bag just makes any outfit look trendier, girlier and summery-er. I think for the price point this one is a good way to get a trendier piece, but it’s still good quality and will last. I’ve been loving this as a day bag with shorts or overalls, and it definitely looks great with skirts and summer dresses. It’s also super lightweight, but a good size so you can definitely put what you need into it without worrying about not having enough room.

  6. Year of Ours Diana Short in Red I don’t know about ya’ll, but I am totally here for the biker shorts trend. I have another pair in black that I love, but the red color is definitely bold and fun. These are super stretchy and comfy, and just an easy weekend look with an oversized tee and cute pair of sneakers.

  7. Watermelon Pool Float I don’t know how I originally missed the memo, but I feel like over the past couple of summers everyone and their mom bought a pool floatie. And after smooching off of everyone else, I finally bought my own and it was totally worth it.

  8. Nécessaire The Body Wash in Eucalyptus I’ve been using the Nécessaire Body Lotion for several months now and love it so much I had to try the body wash, too. I bought this in Eucalyptus, but you can also choose Sandalwood or unscented. It’s a gel-oil cleanser with a non-irritating formula that helps promote skin health. Unlike a lot of other body washes, it’s free of sulfates, phthalates, parabens, petrochemicals, mineral oil, silicone and talc. It’s rich in vitamins - A, B3, C and E, along with Omegas 6 and 9 and antioxidants, too - as well as luxe oils including marula, cacay and meadowfoam, which nourish and soften skin. Mild plant-derived surfactants gently cleanse without stripping or leaving a residue. If you are used to buying drugstore body wash, this is definitely a pricier option, but the quality is totally worth it in my book.

  9. U Konserve - Stainless Steel Straws I think most drinks taste better out of a straw, but I know straws have become a dirty word. So like any good environmentally conscious consumer, I decided to pick up some eco-friendly, reusable straws. I’ve had stainless steel straws before, but I thought they were too narrow and they were the curved style which I’m not a fan of.

  10. Lily’s Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups I randomly bought these at Whole Foods while perusing the candy aisle for a healthier sweet treat. I was a little nervous these wouldn’t taste good because they are made with no added sugar and are sweetened with stevia, but for 65 calories for one peanut butter cup and no sugar, these are delicious. They do taste healthier than say a Reese’s cup, but they are sweet, creamy and definitely satisfy my sweet tooth. `
